City of Derby Club Championships will take place at QLC on Sunday 19th and 26th September 2010.

City of Derby Swimming Club Masters swimmers achieved great success at the British Gas ASA Masters and Senior Age Groups Championships at Ponds Forge on 23rd - 25th Oct 2009, coming away with a total of six gold medals, four silver and 10 bronze. A who's who of British swimming has been lined up to attend a grand charity ball in Derby. Double Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington will lead the line-up of stars at the City of Derby Swimming Club fund-raiser. She will be joined by World Champion Liam Tancock, Olympic and world medallist Jo Jackson as well as Derbyshire’s own Ross Davenport. Read more... A day to remember - Sponsored swim for Zambia, July 5th 2009
HEAD coach Melanie Marshall has paid tribute to the team at City of Derby SC after the club’s sponsored swim for the Zambia Project was a huge success. Double Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington and her fellow Olympians Ross Davenport and Jess Sylvester called in at the Lonsdale event to meet the swimmers, sign autographs and pose for photographs. 2009 Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Junior Swimming League, final – 21st June
The young swimmers of City of Derby Swimming Club travelled to Mansfield at the weekend to compete in the final of the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Junior Swimming League. Facing the strongest teams in the league, the swimmers built on their performances of earlier rounds of the competition and put on a spirited defence of their title as league champions. In the end however they were overwhelmed by a powerful Nottingham Leander squad which dominated the gala. The swimmers had the consolation however of a good second place finish, ahead of rivals Chesterfield, who beat them in the second round, and comfortably ahead of Long Eaton. Read more... City of Derby has been in discussion with its pool providers and are happy that good practise occurs and the pool water is checked to ensure the levels of chlorine are within the normal safety limits.
However, anybody that has concers or further questions should contact their coach or any member of the committee.
